Tips for taking clear images

Your image for upload must be clear and readable in order for us to create your VIN label.

If you are using a digital camera with selectable settings, use the MACRO mode for best results. This is often depicted by an icon resembling a small tulip-like flower.

Phone cameras are reasonably intelligent and focus well in the majority of circumstances. You may be able to tap the image on screen to force a focus, depending on the model. If the image remains out of focus move the camera away from the subject until it becomes clear.

Check for obvious things like reflections and blurring before submitting your image.

If you cannot get a single image for whatever reason then take two or three with differing sections in focus and upload them all.

If your label contains a barcode, 2d bar code or QR code please try and get a separate, clear image of this. If we cannot discern any of these from any images supplied then we will print your label WITHOUT this element.

Blurred or out of focus images cannot be used and will delay your order.
